Rodless Pumps,Inc.,originally named Rodless Oil Production Pump Company of Shengli Petroleum Administration Bureau was founded in 1983, the company was fully restructured and renamed from Sinopec Group on December 22, 2005, and has since been a professional enterprise engaged in the R&D, manufacturing, and technical services of rodless lifting equipment.

The company mainly develops electric submersible pump systems, submersible progressive cavity pump systems, and hydraulic pump systems. It can provide customers with lifting equipment and solutions suitable for casing sizes of 4-1/2" and above, with a capacity t of ≤4800 m³/d and a head of ≤5000 m. Equipped with intelligent control systems, it can realize closed-loop control and remote monitoring and control of operating data. Its products are widely used in onshore oil production, offshore oil production, boosted water injection, drainage gas recovery, geothermal exploitation, and other fields.

The company has established a electric submersible pump and Cable R&D Center. It has obtained 14 scientific and technological achievements at or above the provincial and ministerial level, and 126 national patents (including 35 in-service utility model patents and 7 invention patents). It has led or participated in the formulation of 6 national standards related to electric submersible pumps, and is one of the leading entities for GB/T 16750 electric submersible pump Units. In 2015, it participated in the R&D and completion of the project Development of Subsea Multiphase Boosting Pumps under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China; in 2017, it took part in tackling the key technology project Long Stator Cable Project for 600 km/h Maglev Railway under the National 863 Program; in 2022, it undertook the Shandong Provincial Major Scientific and Technological Innovation Project R&D and Engineering Application of High-performance High-power Submersible Permanent Magnet Direct-drive Electric Pump Systems.

The company passed the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification in November 1995, and has since successively obtained certifications including the UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) certification, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification, and OHSAS 18001 (now updated to ISO 45001) Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification. In 2009, its electrical products obtained the 3C (China Compulsory Certification) mark. In July 2025, it passed the API Q1 Quality Management System Certification. In recent years, it has also acquired the Five-star After-sales Service System Certification, CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) Laboratory Accreditation, Green Enterprise Certification, and AAA Credit Rating Certification.

As an enterprise with advanced technologies and processes, the company specializes in manufacturing electric submersible pumps, maglev rail transit cables, and special cables for oil wells. It serves as the national technical service center for hydraulic pumps, and has been recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise, a Shandong Provincial "Specialized, Refined, Characteristic, and Innovative" Small and Medium-sized Enterprise, a Provincial-level Industrial Design Center, a Shandong Provincial Manufacturing Single Champion Enterprise, and an Enterprise with Grade A Tax Credit Rating. Its registered trademark "SLP" for electric submersible pump units has successively won honors such as "Top Ten Famous Products of Shengli Oilfield", "Shandong Famous Brand Product", "Shandong High-quality Brand Product", and "User Satisfactory Product in the Petroleum Industry".

In 2023, its High-end Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Base, located in Dongying High-tech Industrial Development Zone, was put into operation. Equipped with advanced production equipment and testing systems, the base has an annual production capacity of 1,500 sets of electric submersible pumps,800 sets of submersible progressive cavity pumps,3,600 kilometers of submersible cables,2,000 kilometers of special cables, 1,500 sets of surface electrical equipment, 600 sets of hydraulic pumps, and 200,000 pieces of electric pump accessories.
